8:00 Youth 6th - 12th grades
Tony and Donna Porter teach this class of early birds of 6th - 12th graders. They use the video enhanced Bible series, "FLOOD". Video clips at the opening of each lesson help youth focus on God’s Word and how it applies to everyday life.
9:15 Bibles Study
Middle schoolers meet together in the blue room for opening .
High schoolers meet in room 10 for their opening.
6th Graders
Sixth grade boys and girls meet in different rooms as they study about "Everything You Need to Know To Be A Teenager". This Bible study series is specifically geared to sixth graders in making the transition into the youth department.
7th & 8th Graders
Seventh and eighth grade boys and girls meet together in the Blue Room for the opening videos from the "FUEL" Bible study series. Then they break into their own small groups to discuss the lesson. "FUEL" is a high impact Bible study for youth. In two years all of the key stories in the Bible will be covered.
9th Graders
Ninth graders study the "24 Basic Truths of Christianity". This Bible study provides a strong doctrinal foundation and answers the question, "Why do I believe what I believe?".
10th and 11th Graders
Tenth and eleventh graders study about "24 Basic Skills" that will prepare them to live an effective Christian life. There will be opportunity to develop the actual skills. Topics include: how to have a balanced life; how to study the Bible; and how to defend your faith.
12th Graders
Twelfth graders will be doing a special study this year on "How To Stay Christian In College" . This is sure to help them as they prepare for independence and their future.
